My solo show Report

Thank you for coming!

My dear family, friends, continued supporters, and you who found this page — I have been feeling overwhelming gratitude from all of you for being part of my life and taking the time to visit my show. I like to send you a big hug and Thank you!

How it all started.

This opportunity to hold my very first solo show came in a rather surprising way. My works have been sitting in my room and one day it was time to de-clutter them. So, with a bit of an organized portfolio, I was thinking about showing them to the world somehow, then the universe found a way and I found a brand-new opening of the Territory Gallery which was the venue.

An adrenaline rush

I only found out two weeks before that it was gonna be a solo show. I only thought I was going to join a group show to celebrate the opening of the gallery. But then the gallery owner Mr. Matuda told me that it was my solo show I got an adrenaline rush. Fortunately from the previous de-cluttering, it was easy to categorize my works: music, flowers and plants, and fashionista animals. This gave me clarity about myself to see my work has a connection.

I also created ever large 1000mmx803mm ambitious work.
The gallery has a signature showcase window facing a street and it lights up through the night so it is a 24/7 gallery space. which was perfect for my idea to draw an outdoor night party-themed drawing.

The corner of the gallery was perfect for my sculpture.

Prospects for the future

Sure thing, see you all at the next show!

Check out the lists of all works.

Cheers

Mari
